Faceplates

Fiber optic faceplates are used to transfer an image without the use of lenses. They are commonly used on displays, CCD coupling, and image intensification.

LED Sources

These are popular, as they have a long lifetime and can be switched quickly. However they are not as bright as tungsten or gas lamps. They are inexpensive, but the power supply can be expensive.

We have produced thousand of bundles used for the UV curing of adhesives for multiple industries. Bent end-tips are common; for a sharp bend we can make a partial cut in the tubing.

Integrated Wires

Fibers and wires together to provide switching. Some use magnets and hermetically sealed reed switches to provide millions of trouble-free on/off MTBF.
