COHERENT FIBER IMAGING SYSTEM

Simi Valley, CA – January 11th, 2016 – Fiberoptic Systems is pleased to announce the Fiber optic imageintroduction of their new coherent fiber based FiberScope (PN 50-3839). Designed for peering into areas too tiny for standard endoscopes, the system consists of a coherent bundle, a GRIN lens, illuminating fibers, and an integral LED and power supply. The working (distal) end of the System is jacketed with a polyimide tubing less than 1.0mm in diameter. The user can order the fiber portion any length desired. To save cost, the user can use any standard laboratory microscope (400X) to view the proximal end. Medical grade epoxy is used, and the fiber portion is autoclavable and flexible. The distal end is robust and will not detach in use. Larger diameter Systems can be ordered that will increase the resolution and/or the level of illumination. The working distance is 2 to 10mm.
